about the role

  • Maintain a high corporate and professional standard for the reception area at all times, including timely and appropriate assistance to candidates, clients, employees and guests of the company
  • Greet and treat all visitors in a courteous and professional manner Ensure all calls are answered as per Randstad standards in a cheerful and professional manner, and that maximum assistance is provided to all callers.
  • Pass on any messages taken in a professional and accurate manner.
  • Ensure reception area, interview and meeting rooms are neat and tidy at all times
  • Responsible for pantry area tidiness and be proficient with the use of coffee machine, and commodities such as teabag/sugar/milk are adequate.
  • Be familiar with the meeting room calendar ensuring meeting rooms are not overbooked and assist with booking of meeting room, where required.
  • Inform staff of any candidate and visitors arrivals and pass on any messages taken in a professional and accurate manner.
  • Ensure you are familiar with the operating (recruitment) procedures relative to the Randstad business, company policies, usage of computer equipment in the office especially video conference and projector and other e-commerce technology as it is rolled out.
  • Responsible for organising and coordinating courier for local and overseas including preparation of airway/consignments note ensuring all deliveries are forwarded in a timely manner to the correct person
  • Responsible for postage and clearing of mail and distribution onto the right person
  • Ensure stationery cupboards are neat and tidy.
  • Responsible for the purchasing of stationery and any other office supplies.
  • Ensure utility area is stocked up with copier papers and essential stationery.
  • Make utility area tidy and neat for all users.
  • Assist with coordinating candidate and client functions not limiting to organising and follow up of invites and attendance list, and catering for visitors & company events, where required
  • Liaison with property management in regards to office space, all shared facilities: property management, office fixtures

skills and experience

  • Corporate reception or front desk experience
  • Customer service and administration experience
  • Numeracy and IT ability
