About the job
This job is open due to internal promotion. In this job, you will report into Iris. Iris started her career at Randstad in the Netherlands, where she held various positions before she transferred with Randstad to Australia earlier this year. She is based in Sydney and you and your team of 4 are based in our Melbourne office on Collins Street. You provide leadership, coach and support your team to ensure they perform to the maximum of their abilities.
The core focus of your team is to (re) engage with Randstad clients nationally to generate highly qualified leads for operational divisions. You are responsible for implementing and executing strategies in the business to ensure the conversion of prospect clients/contacts. You will work closely with the division heads and manage internal stakeholders to ensure all leads are followed up. Part of your responsibilities will be to maintain the number of leads and increase the quality that can bed passed through to the business after building relationships with these clients. There is also a large focus on project based work and pilot programs that will help to further craft the outlook of your team.

You are goal orientated and solution focused. You have strong business development / outbound sales experience and have experience in leading a team. You have strong attention to detail, adhere to process and act as a sales champion for the Randstad Business. You are willing to be hands on and to make calls to generate leads yourself. You are seen to be a mentor to your peers, someone who can train and coach to get the best out of your team members. We provide you with the management tools to support you in your day to day job to manage your team. Iris will have regular linkups with you, both via phone and face to face, she works out of the Melbourne office regularly. It is important you can adapt to change and implement changes in your business efficiently. This job can be your stepping stone into recruitment.
