Randstad is looking for a Bid Manager to join its Sydney based, national bids team on a 1 year maternity cover contract (April/ May start). Along with providing direction and support to the Bid Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the end to end bid process across the business.

Reporting to the Executive General Manager (HR Consulting, Randstad Sourceright, Talent Solutions), you will be responsible for managing Ranstad’s bid responses - ensuring winning proposal strategies are developed and implemented.

Responsible for managing the end to end preparation of bid and tender submissions, you will:

  • Ensure each tender has been adequately qualified by appropriate stakeholders (bid/ no bid)
  • Coordinate “war-rooms” for bids with appropriate stakeholders
  • Develop tender response strategy (stories, key differentiators, USPs etc.) in conjunction with appropriate stakeholders
  • Identify and engage colleagues across the business to get the best information available for each response
  • Project management of deadlines and allocation of tasks throughout the process, including regular follow-up and communication.

As Bid Manager, you will also:

  • Act as internal subject matter expert for tender related enquiries
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders
  • Receive tender notifications and distribute to relevant internal stakeholders
  • Write, update and maintain the tender library
  • Liaise with key internal stakeholders and departments to maintain knowledge of company operations
  • Research recruitment industry market trends and innovations to implement in tender responses
  • Ensure the business is kept up to date with the status and results of submissions
  • Maintain tender tracking database and provide related reporting as required
  • Implement quality assured, best practice bid management processes
  • Assist in the preparation of pitch presentations
  • Assist with the ongoing management of key accounts through the preparation of various documents where applicable.

Extensive experience in the end to end management of bids and tenders is a must. You are motivated and thrive in a fast paced environment and have the experience and ability to drive and lead others.
