About the team

We are currently seeking a Senior Consultant/Team Leader to join the Commerce & Industry Accounting team based in our Sydney CBD office. This job is structured around recruitment within the Accounting Support market - coivering positions within the Shared Services Finance landscape.

In this job, you will be focusing on filling roles for payrollers, accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, Credit Control and Assistant Accountants while driving a team of 1 to 4 consultants depending on your experience. You will be working on permanent roles with average billing fee of $14,000. The team you will be joining receives a large amount of inbound leads and has a number of existing warm client relationships that can help you build your desk efficiently. The client base is broad and ranges from large listed firms to SMEs.

In your job, you will be working in an overall team of 15 recruitment professionals. You will be directly reporting into the branch manager Will Reep, who has 13 + years working within the Accounting sector. The culture within this team is established as social, engaged and flexible with a high degree of personal accountability for activity and performance.

To be successful in this role it is required that you have 4+ years recruitment experience preferably within Accounting, however, similar industries are okay. You will be client focused and autonomously driven.
