responsibilities

As a Corporate & Legal Affairs Manager, some of your tasks will include:

  • Providing professional support, guide, and advice as required
  • Assisting the business in compliance with all various legal requirements
  • Suggesting and advice on various legal matters likes commercial contracts, dispute resolution, regulatory, employment, and governance
  • Ensuring that legal documents are drafted, reviewed and interpreted as per applicable laws
  • Taking appropriate steps on different types of legal issues
  • Handling external as well as internal legal resources skills and specifications
  • Keeping the appropriate level of management informed of issues and coordinating/initiating required actions
  • Providing guidance and advice across all business functions with regards to regulatory compliance issues
  • Contributing to strategic discussions and planning activities with Market Leadership Team
  • Representing company in relevant industry associations, business organisations and regulatory body
  • Being responsible for the Corporate and PR Comms including management of the PR agency.

requirements

In order to be considered for this Corporate & Legal Affairs Manager role the requirements are:

  • University degree in Business, Marketing or Law
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in FMCGs on Corporate Affairs and Law. Experience on Compliance or Communications will be considered as an asset
  • Excellent command of English (oral & written)
  • Strong business acumen and commercial mind-set
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Analytical and able to think and operate strategically at all levels
  • Effective team player with strong presentation and negotiation skills.
