As a HR Generalist, you will:

  • Contribute to the personal and professional development of the organization’s personnel, which involves employee orientation, development and training
  • Identifying training and development needs considering the costs of planned programs and keeping within budgets
  • Assess business unit’s HR training needs and conduct training sessions
  • Evaluate and coordinate Learning and Development programs
  • Be involved in performance management working closely with senior management within the organization
  • Manage internal communication through several channels, such as a staff intranet to establish organizational messages and keep staff informed on developments
  • Develop HR policy and documentation in line with the company’s corporate vision
  • Implementation of day-to-day HR management, related to HR compliance, talent acquisition, training, employee benefits
  • Implementation of HR policies 
  • Coordinate new hire orientation:  ensure new employees complete required forms, explain company policies and benefits
  • Coordinate induction process
  • Maintain up to date employee files and archives
  • Propose action plans and participate in their follow through
  • Collect information and prepare reports for month-end figures and follow up indicators
  • Work with line managers to develop and implement HR plans and solutions
  • Participate in organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning and skills assessment
  • Review and analyze business unit data to identify trends and recommend solutions
  • Work with line managers and employees to address all types of employee relations issues
  • Manage annual HR processes, salary & bonus review, appraisals etc
  • Drive Talent & Development processes such as succession planning and development programs


In order to be eligible for the HR Generalist role you need to have:

  • Bachelor degree from a university in Business Administration or relevant field
  • Postgraduate Degree in Human Resources Management or MBA, will be consider an asset
  • 4-5 years of experience in HR Generalist positions
  • Ability to express ideas verbally and in writing, in a clear, concise and professional manner, (both in English & in Greek)
  • Extremely well organized and methodical in problem solving and managing filing/database system
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Adaptability and agility to change
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office and HRS systems
  • Employee relations experience
  • Knowledge of HR processes and associated labor law
