As SOC Manager you will take over the SOC (Security Operations Center) services of the company, reporting to the Head of Cyber Security Services. Your duties will be the following:

  • responsible for security event monitoring, management and response
  • ensure incident identification, assessment, quantification, reporting, communication, mitigation and monitoring
  • ensure compliance to SLA, process adherence and process improvisation to achieve operational objectives
  • revise and develop processes to strengthen current Security Operations Framework, review policies and highlight the challenges in managing SLAs
  • responsible for team management, overall use of resources and initiation of corrective action where required for Security Operations Center (SOC)
  • perform threat management, threat modeling, identify threat vectors and develop use cases for security monitoring
  • responsible for integration of standard and non-standard logs in SIEM
  • coordination with stakeholders, build and maintain positive working relationships with them
  • communication with Customer as part of the incident process or in terms of any sales or presales activity


Your profile can match the SOC Manager in case you have the following skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in the SOC field, either as a SOC Manager, either as a Senior SOC Analyst
  • degree in IT or relevant
  • in-depth knowledge of security concepts such as cyber-attacks and techniques, threat vectors, risk management, incident management etc.
  • certifications related to the Cyber Security & Incident Response field such as CCSP, or GSEC, or GIAC or equivalent
  • proficient in Incident Management and Response
  • knowledge of applications, databases, middleware to address security threats against the same
  • proficient in preparation of reports, dashboards and documentation
  • excellent communication and leadership skills
  • ability to handle high pressure situations with key stakeholders
