The China HR Director Job description In a really decentralized organisation, the China HR Director is essentially a specialist in all HR functions able to manage and pilot the different people in charge of Human Resources as a HR Function Head. She or He will be ready to supervise and assist the different people in the different entities for all questions relating to the Human Resources matters as an Internal Consultant. She or he should also be the co-ordinator and initiator for any Group projects or programs. In order to coordinate, support and train the HR team realized by each Chinese entity. The HR Director China is essential to guarantee the best practices in HR, the compliance with China HR related regulation and and laws. 1. Job Description ? Develop, implement, manage and maintain overall HR Policies and Processes to ensure those in each entitiy in China are in line with Group Direrctives. ? As a liaison with Group HR department for all HR functions related to China, listed but not limited to, Expariates management, Group development program, Group talent program(Future leader, CEDRE), high level position recruitment, Annual Salary Review, Group engagement Survey, etc. ? To be the key member of China steering committee to initiate and drive any improvement plan related to people. And also support China Country Director to engage and development all the China steering committee memebers. ? Support new Business Units entering into China on varies of HR topics. ? Work closely with Entity HR Manager and MD/CEO to make sure the best practise for daily HR operations. And given the guidance even in person support once they meet any difficulties in all HR matters such as Recruitment, training, career development, C&B, company culture, labor issues, etc. ? Implement the organization of HR team in China so as to meet business needs, meanwhile to strengthen their competencies. ? Provide China level support to each entity to improve their efficiency through harmonizing programs, share information, share resources across entities based on business situation and needs ? Work closely with each BU Head and Country Directors to provide support on their strategic plan related to HR. ? Time by time to do the business diagnose so that to help MD/CEOs define the potential risks or potential improvements and work together with HRs for the action plan and follow up. Help them to do the organization development based on Business needs. ? Conduct necessary analysis for MD/CEOs on C&B, people potential to help them on talent management. ? 2. Position She or He will report directly to the China Country Director and functionally to the Headquarter HR VP for all questions related to HR. She or He will manage the HR people in the different Fives entities in China 3. Working relations Randstad She or He will manage directly the relation with the Recruitment providers, benefits providers, Labor Law firms. On a day to day basis, she or he will be in relation with: The HRs responsible of the different entities and if necessary with department heads in each entity. All China steering committee members Group HRs, Group people in other functions(EHS, Exellence, Service, IT, etc) On a monthly base: The HR VP Group, and the China Country Director The director of the different subsidiaries The accounting responsible in the subsidiaries for the payroll monthly report and payment The different departments in the entities abroad (France and in other parts of the world) 4. Job requirements Summary of Experience: ? Chinese Mandarin mother language ? Fluent English language, French appreciate ? Bechelor Degree, Master in management will be preferred ? Region HR management experience 3-5 years ? Solid PC skills, with a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.) ? Recent 10-15 years Experiences in WOFE will be preferred Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: ? Knowledge of Organization Development, able to do the related projects and implementation ? Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership ? Knowledge of China labor law and Labor Contract Law ? Knowledge of China government regulations, policies, processes related to HR ? Knowledge of all HR operation functions in detail ? Very strong influencing skills ? Good strategic planning skill but also hands on ? Good coaching skills and facilitating skills ? Excellent written and oral communication skills ? High level of honesty and integrity ? High level of management on uncertainty and flexibility ? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills ? Strong business mindset ? Positive attitude and ability to manage a team , good team spirit ? Strong organization skills
