* SUMMARY * DESCRIPTION We are looking for an IT manager to be responsible and accountable for the smooth running of our computer systems within the limits of requirements, specifications, costs and timelines. You will supervise the implementation and maintenance of our company’s computing needs. The successful candidate will have improved skills, a proven professional experience and a detailed knowledge of industry’s best practice processes. Manage information technology and computer systems ? Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations ? Manage IT staff by recruiting, training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance ? Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures ? Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems ? Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy ? Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time ? Audit systems and assess their outcomes ? Preserve assets, information security and control structures ? Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness REQUIREMENTS ? Proven working experience as an IT manager or relevant experience ? Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems ? Expertise in data management and data governance ? Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation ? Ability to manage personnel ? Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, MIS or similar field ? Minimum advanced English and Mandarin language skills; Cantonese a big plus * DETAILS * ROLE COMPETENCIES Networking ? Oversees the administration and maintenance of the company's infrastructure, and directs IT staff when necessary ? Assists in the planning and implementation of additions, deletions and major modifications to the IT infrastructure ? Implements network security ? Oversees the administration of the company's WAN Internal Systems ? Oversees troubleshooting, systems backups, archiving, and disaster recovery and provides expert support when necessary ? Works with project teams to help implement internal systems; expertise in Salesforce CRM and/or JobBOSS ERP is a huge plus) ? Provides additional support if necessary Help Desk Administration ? Oversees all help desk activities ? Oversees the administration and maintenance of computer stations and software ? Responds to escalated help desk issues ? Oversees the administration and maintenance of our tracking software ? Interacts with internal clients on all levels to help resolve IT-related issues and provides answers in a timely manner Asset Management ? Builds and maintains vendor relationships and manages the purchase of hardware and software products ? Manages the purchasing of all software, hardware and other IT supplies ?
