Learning Manager (Retail Banking and Wealth Management)

Supports the delivery of learning interventions to our financial client in line with priorities and
plans set out by their Academy Leads and Global businesses in order to support the people
development strategy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
? Teaching courses on investment products such as mutual funds, bonds, investment
structure products and insurance products to the required standards so that colleagues are
skilled with the required skills and capability to perform their roles effectively
? Provides suggestions in your specialism to the global businesses curriculum which
contributes to the development of best in class learning interventions
? Fulfils the agreed demand plan in a cost effective and efficient manner by use of a variety
of learning mediums
? Formulates training plans on transactional aspects of learning delivery
? Deploys global curriculum in a cost effective and efficient manner to the business
Works in compliance with established procedures and/or protocols. Identifies and
resolves readily identifiable, clearly-defined problems
? Collaborates with our client to review existing training course materials and refine course
delivery for specific audiences to achieve training objectives
? Conduct quality review of data created to support course delivery
? Monitor class evaluations to ensure customer satisfaction

Essential Requirements
? Bachelor degree with major in Finance or Economics
? Possess professional qualification of CFP or CFA
? 8-10 years experiences in working at frontline in sales as well as sales management
experience in the financial industry
? 3 – 5 years of instructor-led training experience
? Strong knowledge of sales tools and investment products
? Proficient in Chinese and fluent in English
? Strong interpersonal skills
? Excellent presentation and communication skills
? Demonstrates experience and track-record relating to Learning delivery within fastmoving,
complex and demanding corporate environments, with exposure to different
markets/cultures and diverse regulatory frameworks
? Demonstrates up to date knowledge of the external environment, the competitive
landscape and broad macro-economic trends
? An interpersonal style that elicits trust, open mindedness and co-operation and one that
builds effective, collaborative working relationships throughout the organization
? Availability to travel as required
