Responsibilities: ? Responsible for the implementation of the Marketing Excellence initiative in the Asia Pacific region: 1. Understand and update GBU support needs 2. Prioritize and organize the Marketing Excellence support for the region 3. Deliver the support 4. Drive Marketing Excellence projects, and support the GBU team to: 5. Structure the problem and identify the appropriate Marketing Excellence methodology 6. Adapt/tailor the methodology to address the specific challenges and meet the ambitions 7. Co-construct the project approach and project plan 8. Run the project: co-manage project with GBU project leader (facilitate team, drive timely delivery, support analysis work, handle hard and soft aspects,…) 9. Communicate findings and recommendations to the governance bodies (steering committee) 10. Ensure implementation follow-up upon GBU request 11.Support GBUs on implementation of the Marketing Excellence methodologies, depending on their business needs 12. Initiate and support best-practice sharing on the Marketing Excellence activities across the GBUs 13.Responsible for the further content development of the Marketing Excellence toolbox, in coordination with the EU Marketing Excellence team 14. Carry out the Marketing Excellence training to GBU teams in the region Requirements: 1. Bachelor degree in International Business, Marketing, Business Administration, Chemical Engineering. Master’s degree & MBA is preferred 2. 4-6 years of experience in a Marketing role (corporate or business, B2B or B2B2C) and/or 3+ years in strategy consulting firms 3. Knowledge of Marketing general processes, techniques and tools is a must 4. Very strong project management skills 5. Experience in a change management role, having demonstrated ability to influence decision making across a broad spectrum of business initiatives without direct authority 6. Ability to both think strategically and look for actionable and pragmatic solutions 7. Excellent problem solving skills, including problem structuring and synthesis 8. Strong drive and achievement orientation 9. Strong collaboration skills, great team player, in multi-cultural & international environments 10. Diplomatic but able to stand his/her ground 11. Ability to interact appropriately with all levels of seniority (from field level to GBU president) 12.Strong communication skills, both verbally and written 13. Fluent in written and spoken English. Mandarin is a plus 14. Good in Powerpoint 15.Available for frequent travel (travel level up to 30% of working time)
