Salary: 17000 to 28,000RMB net per month

School Overview: This school is located in Chengdu on a 25 acre campus in a park-like setting and is a new addition to a large WASC accredited school group with IB campuses throughout China. The campus opened in 2016 as a K-12 school that also offers boarding facilities for students. The staff is a dynamic team in the process of development and growth.

Location Overview: Although one of China's less explored cities - Chengdu is a key economic hub in South West China with a population of 14 million including 14,000 ex-pats working for a variety of companies, including Intel, Toyota, Microsoft and various international schools. Chengdu has a high standard of living but lower living costs and this has given the city the reputation of easy to move to and hard to leave. It is a popular tourist destination; famous as home to the Pandas, Sichuan food, mountains, temples and Giant Buddha's.

Requirements: Applicants must have at least 2 years of post-qualifying experience. IB curriculum experience is preferred but teachers are welcome who share the IB inquiry based philosophy to teaching. The school are looking for qualified and professional teachers to help continue the school's growth, they like teachers who are driven, motivated individuals, team players and can contribute to extra-curricular activities.

Package: Competitive salary based on years of experience from 17000 to 28,000RMB net per month; Flights to and from home country at the beginning and end of contract (2 yr contracts); Settling in allowance; Housing; International medical insurance; International flight allowance; Visa costs; Tuition fees for up to two children.
