Title:R&D Manager Responsibilities: ?To develop a strong coordination of the engineering and contract, both technically and on the organizational and managerial. ?Manage all the activities of Research and Development, Technical Management, Development of orders coordinating the mechanical design team and automation. ?Manage Product Development plans, organization and management of engineering activities, organizational development of the design team, cost reduction activities. ?To achieve the objectives of technological innovation and development of enterprise products, while respecting the constraints of time, cost and performance standards established ?Identify and lead the execution of strategy for introduction of technology platforms for wood and glass working machines in China. ?Spearhead product development initiatives that are consistent with the Company’s overall strategy. ?Anticipate and react to major technology changes to ensure the maintenance of Company leadership in the competitive landscape. ?Establish technical standards and ensure adherence to them for product development and company operations. ?Identify trendsetter ideas by researching industry & related events and conceptualise the requirements and facilitate technical team to develop new products. ?Screen potential business deals by analysing market strategies, evaluating options and plan & recommend long-term investments. ?Enhances organisational reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. ?Understand the problems in products, engineering & design and coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve and develop long-term solutions. ?Acquire product knowledge by participating technical discussions and interacting with technical personnel of Biesse. ?Lead the working team, motivating individuals and evaluating their performance and taking care of their professional development. Requirements: ?Minimum 10 years of experience in design / R&D / engineering in industrial machinery sector. ?Should be able to identify potential business growth areas and develop the tactics and products needed to bring them to fruition. ?Ability to actively lead the business development functions in an effective, aggressive manner. ?Effective contributor to the management of the company, as a member of the senior management team. ?Demonstrate ability to interpret technology and market trends as a foundation for technology and product roadmaps ?Excellent organisational skills. ?Strong leadership and decision making skills. ?Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. ?Understanding of complex information and requirements. ?High level customer and business orientation. ?High level of commitment and personal integrity. ?Good track record of leadership performance. ?Fluent English communication skills in speaking, writing and understanding.
