School Vision / Ethos: The school opened in September 2012, they are in a custom designed renovated building in the Hi-Tech District of Xi'an, China. They have candidate status from the International Baccalaureate (IB) for all 3 of their programmes (DP, MYP, PYP) and received IBDP authorisation in 2014 making it an IB World school. Their curriculum is an inquiry-based curriculum underpinned by national curricula from England, Canada and USA and implemented DP for their senior years from August 2014. They are entirely privately funded. The school was set up by a small group of parents. After less than one year of operation they gained their school licence from the government.
Requirements: Applicants must be fully qualified (i.e. minimum of Bachelor degree and teaching certificate) and experienced (they prefer 3 years+ relevant teaching experience, though for a strong candidate would consider 2+ years). You must be committed to student centred inquiry based teaching in line with IB philosophy. IB experienced candidates are highly sought after. High levels of adaptability and resilience are required as this relatively new school environment establishes itself.

Package: Salary of 258,000 RMB for a 5 year experienced teacher + stipend for any additional responsibilities.
