Position: Secondary Spanish & EAL Teacher

Required: August 2019

Location: Shanghai, China

Experience: Minimum of 2 years post qualification experience for regular class teaching posts

Sponsorship: Single teachers, teaching couples, married teachers with or without children)

Salary: Top salary and package dependent upon experience.

Contract: 3 Years

This is an new campus of an existing and very highly regarded British and international schools group and opened to much fanfare in August 2016.

This is a top international school providing a top quality education for up to 1600 students in its initial phase with grand plans to accommodate 2500 pupils in total. The College follows an enhanced English National Curriculum in Years 7 - 9 leading in to the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) in Years 10 and 11 and beyond this the plan will be to offer students a challenging academic qualification which is fully recognised by and gives access to universities worldwide.

Requirements: You should have a minimum of two years post qualifying teaching experience and this must include knowledge and experience of the UK curriculum.

The school will be open to Year 10 in the next academic year and you will teach Spanish and EAL focused classes.

The successful candidate will be a highly committed team player who is keen to contribute to the development of this new and rapidly expanding and forward-looking school. Previous experience with EAL (English as an additional language) students is desirable. Applicants must be willing to play a full part in the school's pastoral care and extra-curricular programme.
