We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring individual to work with pupils in a primary school in
Rochdale. You will be working with pupils between the ages of 3 and 11 who have SEN. These needs

include moderate, severe or profound and multiple learning difficulties, which for many pupils
adversely affects their physical abilities, speech, language and communication. A significant
proportion of pupils have autistic spectrum conditions (ASC). The school has a dedicated staff team
with many years of experience working with pupils with SEN. The schools' mission statement is that
their school community develops different pathways of learning opportunities that entitle each
individual to reach their full potential as confident learners.

The responsibilities of this role include:
Working alongside the teacher to support the pupils in the classroom
Helping to arrange classrooms and gather materials for lessons
Working in small groups or on a one to one basis with pupils
Supporting pupils with their additional care needs
The requirements for this role are:
A DBS on the update service
Experience working as a teaching assistant or working with people with SEN
Being dedicated to providing amazing learning support for pupils
Numeracy, reading, writing and communication skills
