As an accountant in this role you will:

• Handles accounting activities for assigned units, ensuring compliance with regulations and tax laws.
• Prepares and maintains accounting files, reports, and data for financial reporting.
• Ensure the monthly closing is completed on time and within deadlines.
• Posts accounting entries.
• Performs periodic account reconciliations and daily invoice reconciliations with vendors.
• Handles data entry related to accounts payable, provisions, accruals, and other adjustments.
• Performs other required accounting tasks.
• Ensures adherence το company policies and procedures.
• Assists with employee scheduling and HR systems, ensuring compliance with labor laws.
• Handles requests regarding the ERGANI system (submission of schedule modification, overtime, and extra work hours of Unit employees).
• Maintains employee and accounting files.
• Cultivate relationships with local authorities and stakeholders to promote company interests.

3-5 years of experience in a similar position 

• Critical thinking and creative, problem solving skills
• Able to quickly adapt and learn

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar position or administrative roles.
• Experience with SAP will be considered an asset.
• Excellent command of Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to prioritize effectively, multi-task, and meet deadlines
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Fluency in both Greek and English (oral and written).
