The successful candidate will work 30-35 hours per week at a rate of $17.25 per hour. This is a great opportunity for those looking to gain office clerical experience.We're looking for candidates who can cover various sites in Vancouver and Victoria.Advantages• Gain experience working in a professional setting for a nationally recognized organization• Work full time hours on a long term contract• 10-month contract• Earn $17.25 per hour• Vancouver Location • Monday to Friday• 30-35 hours/week• Start Date - ASAPResponsibilitiesThe main responsibilities will be as follows:• Professionally greet and interact with walk-in customers • Receive, sort & process mail documents, packages, supplies • Deliver & pick-up mail on scheduled mail runs • Perform outgoing postal & courier duties utilizing shipping / postal systems ensuring most efficient and cost effective method • Perform basic finishing tasks such as: collating, folding, inserting, assembly, packaging. • Operate scanning equipment to convert paper documents to digital (scan, file) • Order and replenish consumables, forms, inventory and other supply items as required • Operate light production printers/copiers - configure settings, manage job queues, process files, print jobs, scan materials and select appropriate output formats per client requirements • Set up, operate and maintain networked digital colour production printing system, configure job processing settings, manage job queues, process files and print jobs • Populate supplies log when purchases are made / Perform month end Inventory / Action discrepancies Qualifications• Excellent customer service and communication skills• Ability to interact professionally with individuals at all levels of an organization• Previous office and administrative experience • Strong computer skills• Must be able to lift up to 40lbs• May be required to visit more than one location (Cost of travel to 2nd location will be reimbursed)• Access to vehicle an asset• Must be able to travel from one site to another around Vancouver as well as to Victoria (Vancouver Island)SummaryIf you're interested in the Front Desk and Mailroom Clerk, please apply online at www.randstad.ca.Randstad Canada is committed to building a diverse workforce reflective of the diversity of Canada.
