This is a Leadership Position within the business and will report into the Group CFO, Directorof Financial Consulting Role & ResponsibilitiesFinancial, Accounting and Payroll Consulting Service Management• Team Leadership:o Motivated by delivering results and setting an example for other employees inthe organizationo Managing team and ensuring efficient & timely recording and maintainingaccounts in respect of all transactions• Responsible for clients’ accounting and payroll back-office functions:o Strict adherence and improvements to clients’ delivery processes inaccounting, payroll and tax services,o Managing on boarding process of setting up operations/local office in Indiae.g. Company/ liaison office/ branch office/ project office,o Managing service delivery team on Foreign Exchange Management Act,Foreign Direct Investment regulations and Reserve Bank of India regulationsrelated to setting up operations in India, routine accounting & payroll andcompliance management of foreign companies having Indian subsidiaries,o Managing direct and indirect tax regulatory compliances of foreign companieshaving Indian subsidiaries,o Consistent and regular monitoring of clients’ deliverables, compliances andreporting to senior management, ando Managing client’s feedback and queries.• Manage, support and expand financial consulting service line:o Support Director of Financial Consulting for expansion of Financial ConsultingServices including:▪ Strategic manpower planning,▪ IT infrastructure requirements, and▪ Management of divisional budget.o Leading and managing accounting & payroll and taxconsulting services as per scope of work assigned under specific clientprojects and ensuring effective communication with other verticals of thecompany, including Marketing, Market Research, Education, Recruitmentand HR Advisory;• Accounts management:o Responsible for performance of client projects and fortnightlyreporting to Director of Financial Consulting; ando Vetting all client service agreements considering financial, tax and legal laws& regulationso Ensure up-to-date and accurate records of financial accounts and reporting o Strategic vision- forward thinking, planning for future, focus towardssystematic leading and growing division's revenue and P&LGetting the Word Out! Strategic Sales & Marketing Initiatives• Development and management of all company financial and tax newsletters andeffective distribution of it to existing and potential clients;• Follow up after work completed with clients for testimonies and feedback on company. • Participation in webinars and, if required, international travel to key source marketsto meet with clients and work alongside the Global Business Development Team andGlobal Partner Network to articulate company’s toprospective clients; and• Marketing and development of organization, attending tradeshows, events, delegations and client visits in India.Minimum required qualificationsRequired Chartered Accountant with an additional qualification of IFRS/MBA Finance from areputed University/College.Work Experience• The ideal candidate should have 10+ years’ experience of doing business in Indiaand particularly in Delhi/ Mumbai with financial, accounting, payroll and taxconsulting experience.• The candidate should be well aware with laws & regulations in India on financialconsulting and management as per Indian GAAPs including laws & proceduralrequirements related to Direct Tax, Indirect Tax, Service Tax, and International Tax,Company law, Foreign Exchange Management Act, Foreign Direct Investment & RBIregulations and Personnel Benefits.• The candidate should possess minimum 4 years of experience of providing consultingservices and managing multinational companies and foreign clients including but notlimited to UK and USA companies having business & operations in India.• Previous history of managing and developing national and international clientsaccounting, tax & reporting services• Should have network of key vendors and relationships with well-known auditing firmsin the market• Experience using IT platforms, including Salesforce, Intact, Tally, and maintainingclient’s details.Candidate will relish the opportunity of gaining exposure to a range of foreign businessesand organizations doing business in India, providing solutions and being their trustedpartner to ensure compliant and effective operations locally. The candidate will work closelyboth with India leadership and key points of contact, including C-Level Executives.
