We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Art and Photography Teacher to join our vibrant secondary school in Keighley. This role is a maternity cover, starting on September 23rd, and will run for the full academic year. As part of your responsibilities, you will also be required to cover general classes.

Contract: Full Academic Year
Location: Keighley, Secondary Setting

Requirements:

QTS or PGCE in Art, Photography, or a related subject.
Proven experience teaching Art and/or Photography in a secondary setting.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and inspire students.
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
Flexibility to cover general subjects when needed.

Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and innovative lessons in Art and Photography across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Inspire and motivate students to explore their creativity and develop their technical skills in both traditional and digital mediums.
Plan and assess student's work, providing constructive feedback to support their artistic development.
Manage classroom behaviour effectively to create a positive and productive learning environment.
Participate in departmental meetings, parent's evenings, and school events as required.
Cover general lessons across different subjects when necessary.
