    My client is a sizable construction company with offices globally, Hong Kong office is under 1,000 headcount. They are currently looking for an Assistant HR Manager (HRBP) to join their team.

    Reporting to the Senior HR Manager within a sizable HR team.


    about the job.

    • Act as a HR Business Partner for assigned business unit such as construction and engineers for construction projects; providing them HR advice, on/off boarding, performance management, prepare salary proposal, salary review, staff movements
    • Work closely with Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits and other HR functions in order to drive a smooth HR operations
    • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counselling, career development, disciplinary actions)
    • Analyse trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies
    • Resolve and manage complex employee relations issues and conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations
    • Work closely with the hiring managers and business leaders to understand the business context to interpret and anticipate into HR planning & execution
    • Provide advice and insights for workforce planning, employee engagement, talent management & development to ensure succession planning for key positions
    • Support in any ad hoc projects as required

    skills & experiences required.

    • Bachelor degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or relevant disciplines
    • Minimum 7 years of HRBP experience working across in sizable platforms
    • Occasional travel to construction sites may be required with safety requirements
    • High flexibility, proactive and a great team player
    • Proficient in MS Office and HR systems
    • Well versed with HK Labour Ordinance, knowledge and experience in China and APAC is an advantage
    • Good command of English, Cantonese and Mandarin
