The Quality Supervisor is responsible for supporting the leadership and drive in delivering quality assurance systems, programs and initiatives. Experience in a lean manufacturing food environment highly regarded. The role is based at the Blacktown production facility.

Responsibilities include:

  • Implementing the Quality function to ensure that products and processes are in compliance
  • Review non-conformances with the team to determine root cause
  • Design, develop and update quality documentation
  • Develop competency based assessments
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to the quality team
  • Proactively participate in ongoing health and safety policies and procedures

Qualifications Required

  • Degree Qualification in Food Technology or Science
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and leading a team in the Food and beverage industry
  • Lean - Six Sigma certification (min yellow belt)
  • Experience in high volume manufacturing environment, preferably in the food and FMCG industry

Technical Skills and Competencies

  • HACCP and Internal Auditor Trained and Certified
  • Hands on Approach to Manufacturing / Production based troubleshooting
  • Strong Organisation Persuasion and Negotiation Skills
  • Ability to communicate and manage stakeholder expectations
  • Strong presentation and time management skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional presentation skills
