Our client is renown for their vision, reputable service and unbreakable relationships with their clients. They are forever expanding and are seeking resourceful and efficient Account Officers to join their finance team.

This rare opportunity will commence on a part time basis and eventually progress into full time. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about work, be a quick learner, self motivated and must have the ability to manage tight deadlines.

It is vital the candidate must have a background knowledge in accounts payable and receivables, bank reconciliations, general ledgers and ad hoc duties.

Reporting into the Finance Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Multiple bank reconciliations
  • Providing relevant commentary/feedback to operational staff
  • Cashflow forecasting
  • Compliance activities
  • End of month - reconciliations, journals, sales, fixed assets
  • Maintaining and updating client information
  • Assist in monthly general ledger reconciliation
  • Accounts payable transactions
  • Accounts receivable transactions
  • various ad-hoc duties, analysis and reports


The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and competencies:

  • Advanced Job Pac software knowledge and Excel is ESSENTIAL to the role
  • Proficient in computer applications to conduct research, analyse data and prepare financial reports.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of financial management and accounting systems
  • High level of communication skills including interpersonal and negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to prepare reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to set priorities, plan and organise workloads and meet strict deadlines in a high volume work environment in a confidential environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and work as part of a team.
