Reporting to the Accounts Team Leader, you will be responsible for the accounts receivable function across the business.

Your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

  • Process credit notes, customer deposits and setting up new customer accounts
  • Accurately process Accounts Receivable for the parent company and 4 subsidiaries
  • Complete trader references and credit checks
  • Communication with various stakeholders specifically debtors
  • Maintenance of customer records
  • Various elements of the payroll function
  • Maintain and monitor employee records
  • Coordinate monthly salary payments, calculate superannuation and employee leave

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

  • Experience in similar role
  • Accounting Certificate
  • Exposure or experience working with Oracle NetSuite system
  • High level of attention to detail and outstanding communication skills
  • Quick learner with a hands-on approach to learning
  • Exercise precision of tasks in timely manner
  • Team player with the ability to work autonomously
  • Self-motivated and goal orientated individual

As our successful candidate, you have a well-developed knowledge of Accounts Receivable and/or Payable functions and you are proficient using ERP systems. You have exceptional communication skills and you will be able to demonstrate a high level of commitment to achieving results while being a motivated team player.
