Exciting role within the State Government for an Admin Assistant in the financial department. This is an ongoing part time role with intention of going full time in a contract role after a few months.

Your new role is for an Admin Assistant for two days a week to start asap. Your role will then have the intention of going five days a week in a few months time in an ongoing role.

Your role:

  • Admin duties to support a team including filing and photo copying
  • Experience with managing accounts in your current or previous roles
  • Responding to enquiries for various stakeholders internally and externally
  • Collaborate with planning and implementation for daily operation
  • Maintaining information accurately on the database daily

Your responsibilities:

You will have the following skill set:

  • Excellent communication skills is essential
  • Ability to work as part of a team and unsupervised.
  • Collecting mail from various buildings within walking distance
  • Experience in providing high quality admin support
  • Updating the database daily
  • Ability to multi task and meet deadlines

Your new building is currently being renovated so you will have a temporary office building in the CBD. Only a short walk to and from to collect mail and once the refurnished office has been completed, you will recommence your role in a brand new office space.
