We are seeking a motivated customer service professional who possess a positive “can do” attitude. You will be the type of person who is willing to go the extra mile to exceed customers' expectations, leaving them with an overall positive experience.

As this is an URGENT requirement, we are seeking candidates who have little to no notice period. The successful candidate will initially be employed as a contractor with the view to transition them to a permanent employee within the first 3 months.

Essential Requirements:

  • A passion for customer service
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to provide excellent phone based customer service (experience in a transport / logistics environment ideal)
  • Sound understanding of inventory / stock control
  • Ability to identify solutions for customers that meet their needs
  • Excellent computer skills

The following duties will be involved:

  • You will be the first point of contact for all incoming client queries relating to delivery tracking, ETA information, complaints handling and more.
  • Acknowledging, resolving and recording customer complaints and escalating any unresolved issues.
  • Delivering services that provide timely, accurate and efficient information and assistance to customers.
  • Ongoing monitoring of stock & cross checking with client orders.
  • Ensuring high levels of customer service delivery and the provision of a quality customer experience.
  • Undertaking administrative work to support warehouse productivity (printing labels & consignment notes, checking orders prior to delivery, rebooking delivery)
