Looking for confident Compliance & Environment administrators to work with our likeable and esteemed Government client in the heart of Merrylands.

Your new role

The Compliance and Environment Administration Assistants are responsible for providing administrative support to the Compliance and Environment Business Unit. The Compliance and Environment Business Unit has a diverse range of functions including; Resource Recovery, Environmental Health Protection, Development Compliance, Environmental Sustainability, Community Law enforcement through Parking Patrol Officers and Environmental Protection Officers, Companion Animal Management and Immunisation services. The Compliance and Environment Administration Assistants will be required to work collaboratively within the Administration Team and Compliance and Environment Business Unit, as well as being responsible for the fulfilling of functions that are the sole responsibility of the Team. Local government experience is advantageous but not necessary to apply for this position.

What you'll need to succeed

To success in this role you will need to be computer savvy, a good listener with the ability to multitask and work under pressure. Experience in typing legal and statutory documents would be highly desirable- this role requires someone with flawless written and verbal communication .

Training will be provided to the right candidate with the opportunity to be extended with this organisation direct. This is a 3 month contract full time- interviewing immediately with start date of 10/12/2018.

1.6 Experience in providing personal assistance functions to Manager level positions
