Full Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity for you to gain valuable experience within a leading BIG 4 Bank located in Sydney Olympic Park. The role is a newly created appointment setting (outbound calling) position within a successful, high performing team who work on the retention of previous business customers. Using your exceptional customer service/outbound sales experience, you will be responsible for supporting a team of business bankers to re-establish previous customers and rebuild working relationships to support the successful of the bank.

We currently have two part time vacancies (Mon-Wed) for 15 hours per week on a rotating shift roaster, working between the hours of 10am-6pm. The ideal candidate will be looking for a ongoing position with the opportunity to work additional hours in the long term. Key Responsibilities

  • 1-2 years experience within outbound sales, appointment setting, call centre is essential
  • Previous experience with banking is highly desirable
  • Manage outbound calls to existing/old customers
  • Provide exceptional customer service experience
  • Arranging 8-10 appointments per day
  • Ability to build rapport quickly
  • Demonstrated confidence and ability to connect with the customer


Your Skills & Experience

  • Previous call centre experience is preferred
  • Contact centre experience is a pre-requisite
  • Ability to work within a team collaboratively
  • Experience with dealing with difficult customers
  • Motivated & Enthusiastic attitude!
  • Exceptional problem solving skills
  • Willingness to learn and demonstrate a positive attitude


Selection Criteria

  • Perm Resident or Australian Citizen only
  • Consent to an employment verification check
  • Clear criminal history - AFP
  • Able to provide 2 professional referees for verbal reference checks
