Randstad is seeking suitably experienced Assistant Project Manager/Project Assistant for ongoing work in the Perth’s Eastern Suburbs.


JOB TITLE: Assistant Project Manager/Project Assistant

LOCATION: Perth – Eastern Suburbs



PAY RATE: $50-60K per annum plus superannuation


The client is one of Perth’s leading shopfitting companies. This is a fantastic opportunity to establish your Project Management career and contribute to the continued growth of a business with the support of an experienced team.

Candidates will be degree qualified, or in the latter stages of attaining an industry related degree, and must have demonstrable experience in and understanding of Project Management processes. Excellent command of English, high level of competence, high level organisation and communication skills and a proactive, collaborative, professional manner are all essential for success in this business critical role.

Office based with/ site visits also

Assist Project Management team

Learn company estimating program to create quotes / variations

Liaise with clients / designers / trades / project manager

Assist in Scheduling – Microsoft Project

Assist in the Coordination of trades

Assist Sending orders to trades

Create SWMS etc using company templates

Assist with liaising with shopping centres / builders for prestart requirements / permits / access

Assist with the booking of deliveries / site equipment / materials with production & transport for projects

Assist with the creation of weekly site reports to clients / designers

Assist with the use of company program for variations / approving invoices etc.

Assist with the accumulation of certificates at the end of projects / filling out building license forms
