BIM Manager

The role:

Due to a recent movement, our client has an exciting vacancy for a BIM Manager to join our Store Format Development Team. In this role you will lead a team to provide strategy, process and technological end to end solutions to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the Planning, Construction and Engineering Maintenance & Services Teams. You will have the ability to Lead & drive the shaping of future technologies. Define and manage the Digital Model information standards for design and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Deliver significant step change improvements to how standards are managed, created and communicated
  • To drive and lead the strategy, development & documentation of building information standards
  • Lead BIM Coordinators to deliver best practice models and informational outcomes
  • Ensure that systems are in place as key enables to improve efficiencies and communication of information within the store program.
  • Identify and evaluate new opportunities in accordance with the strategic objectives of the organisation
  • Run the change management process quickly and simply to ensure changes get into the business while preserving due diligence.

Skills & Experience:

  • A degree in Architecture or Architectural technologies
  • A minimum of 7 years experience
  • Understand basic financial metrics that make up a financial model
  • Proven ability to work at pace in a changing environment
  • planning Management experience in medium and small scale projects
  • Demonstrated experience in understanding and negotiating
  • Proficient organisational and planning skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage diverse projects and associated contractor /consultant/ site supervisor, suppliers and teams to ensure projects are delivered professionally and in a timely manner
  • Experience in retail will be highly regarded!!
