Our client is looking for enthusiastic and highly motivated individuals to fill the position of Business Analyst in their ICT Department.

As part of the team you will inspire, advocate and champion the effective use of innovative technologies across the organisation.

The position of ICT Business Analyst, reporting to the ICT Business Solutions Team Leader, will provide you with an opportunity to join a motivated team, be part of the Digital Transformation program and develop your knowledge base. In turn, you are expected to have a determination in the development of your skills, have a customer centric view and be a proactive and supportive team player.

In the role, you will be responsible for:

  • Facilitating investigation and scoping for large or complex projects, engaging with stakeholders as required.
  • Assisting with Business Case preparation.
  • Understanding and eliciting Business requirements and translating these into efficient and effective processes within a technology solution.
  • Utilising modelling and analysis tools, methods and standards to represent business perspectives.
  • Building successful relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of the business, involved in the program both internal and external.
  • Development of Test plans and supporting the business through User Acceptance Testing.

Essential Criteria

  • Tertiary qualification in Business Analysis, Information Systems or related discipline
  • Demonstrated high level analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity and ability to work collaboratively with team and undertake liaison with staff across a range of functional areas
  • Demonstrated high level of communications skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to apply and monitor the use of required modelling and analysis tools, methods and standards.
  • Demonstrated experience in CRM Projects.
  • A current Class C Driver Licence

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience in MS Dynamics.
  • Sound practical knowledge of relevant best practice frameworks including project management methodology (e.g. PRINCE2, Agile
  • A good understanding of the role and use of IT in Local Government and relevant technology trends
