In this Brisbane based role, you will report to the Queensland Manager. You will be responsible for sales of water products to local and regional businesses across Queensland and New South Wales. Your customers will be dealers and distributors. Their customers will be irrigators and farming enterprises. As part of a national business with a national presence, you will have all the marketing materials and resources required to seek out, develop and finalise sales.

The Company

Our client is a proudly Australian company which provides water products to industrial, farming/irrigation and mining clients. They also sell related valve and pipe products. They are a successful exponent in providing tailored engineered products in the sectors they serve. Their commitment to their clients´ equipment productivity and reliability has resulted in sustained national growth. They have a network of offices across Australia and are looking to add an experienced Business Development Manager to their Queensland team to manage sales to their dealer network.

The Role

In this Brisbane based role, you will report to the Queensland Manager. You will be responsible for sales of water products to local and regional businesses across Queensland and New South Wales. Your customers will be dealers and distributors. Their customers will be irrigators and farming enterprises. As part of a national business with a national presence, you will have all the marketing materials and resources required to seek out, develop and finalise sales. You will be given accounts to manage along with the expectation that you will bring some new business in through the gate. In this autonomous role, you will engage in business partnering and stakeholder engagement. There will be on the road travel up to one week per month.

Your Profile

You will have demonstrated technical sales experience in water, particularly irrigation products. You will have highly developed communication skills and proven history in developing key sector relationships. You will have experience in providing solutions that are useful and relevant to your customers’ needs.

Experience in a regional sales environment, while not essential, will be highly regarded.
