My client is a market-leading supplier of premium products and services to the plumbing and construction trades. With an already established stronghold in all major states, combined with solid financial backing and a strong research team, the focus has turned to growing presence in NSW.


You will be joining an internal and warehousing team at their new branch in Western Sydney. In close collaboration with the senior management team, you will lead all frontline business activities for NSW.

  • Develop new business opportunities with existing and potential customers
  • Recommend sales budgets by product and client
  • Advise Senior Management Team of the market and technical support strategies required to achieve sales targets
  • Develop relationships to become first point of contact for tradesmen if product breakages or faults occur – escalate to Head of Operations for action
  • Monitor market trends through contact with customers (tradesmen, plumbers)
  • Liaise with Marketing and Product Managers on topics such as advertising campaigns, promotional materials, new products releases, discount strategies, etc
  • Maintain close relationships with key accounts and ensure their requirements are being met in line with KPIs
  • Evaluate current, and forecast customer needs and advise on product accordingly
  • Draft pricing structure for new customers
  • Using information provided by sales support staff, conduct customer site visits:
    • Establishing new sites and offices to be visited to sell product in to
    • Maintain sales to existing customers and sites


  • Are a self-motivated sales professional with strong commercial acumen
  • Have a strong connections with/network of plumbers…i.e. are currently dealing with plumbers directly on a regular basis. The role will have you dealing directly with plumbers on a regular basis.
  • Have an understanding of and established connections within the construction industry
  • Former experience attending construction sites
  • Driven to be part of a high achieving and rewarding culture that had a strong focus on career progression and development (the role has the potential to evolve into a branch manager/ sales manager’s position …
  • Have a background in/or exposure to operational activities i.e. stock control/availability/delivery KPIs etc.
