About the company:

This Managed Service Provider has been operating in Sydney for over a decade and have won numerous awards for their tailored solutions. Focusing on the mid-market segment they have created a good partnership with Microsoft to help small / medium sized businesses. Having grown organically over the last few years they are now ready to take the next step and the hire of a BDM will be crucial for their future growth.

About the role:

As a Business Development Manager you are responsible for bringing in revenue by selling the company’s Managed Services to new and existing clients. You will:

  • Help build a strategic multi year plan for customer acquisition
  • Respond to inquiries, tenders etc
  • Develop and maintain relationship with your market segment
  • Help with Marketing campaigns

About the ideal candidate:

To be successful in this role you will be an experienced BDM having sold Managed Services in the Sydney mid-market segment. You are tenacious, autonomous and are always looking to help your clients to create a win-win situation. You know how to sell solutions rather than products. In short you:

  • Are an autonomous and driven Business Development manager
  • Have 5+ years experience selling Managed Services / IT Solutions
  • Have a good understanding of Microsoft Cloud technologies
  • Are someone that thinks company culture is important and will actively participate
