Opportunity to join a Market Leading Organisation working as a Business Development Manager.

The primary purpose of the Business Development Manager (BDM) role is to acquire new business and retain existing business to grow company revenue and subscriber market share in the Medium Segment focusing on 6 – 150 employee range. The role will also involve working closely with a designated Lead Generation Consultant and Solutions Consultant to drive whole-of-business sales and extend market reach.

Key responsibilities:

  • The identification of potential high value SMB customers to grow market share
  • Manage the development of a balanced and sustainable pipeline to deliver long term sales goals.

  • Implement retention and Cross Sell strategies in customer base

  • Understand global and national trends and issues affecting the mobile, fixed and digital sector

Skills & experience required:

  • Extensive relationship / strategic sales experience within the Telecommunications and/or IT sectors
  • Strong presentation - written & verbal to internal and external senior executives
  • Strong product and industry knowledge
  • Sound commercial and business acumen with experience in positioning value propositions to customers
  • Proven sales track record in achieving growth through acquisition strategies and sales teams and customer loyalty through strong relationships
