Our client is a well established security company who is now seeking a motivated and resilient business development manager to build new relationships and drive further growth.

This is a great opportunity for a natural hunter who enjoys building new relationships and thrives on delivering results. Demonstrated knowledge of the security / facilities space will be looked upon favourably, however if you're a sales gun with a track record of growth and have the drive to master a new industry we want to speak with you!

In order to be successful in this role you will:

  • Be proactive and ready to seek out new corporate and SME clients from a diverse range of industries across Melbourne
  • Build a strong pipeline of prospects
  • Leverage existing contacts and build upon your referral network
  • Pride yourself on delivering exceptional service to all your prospects and clientsMan
  • Be confident in your consultative sales approach and negotiation skills
  • Thrive at achieving KPI's and working towards exceeding sales budgets
  • Take ownership of the role and your results

Required Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated experience and strong track record of success in a business-to-business sales environment
  • Experience in security industry / facility management / service industry would be viewed as beneficial
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills
  • Natural passion and flair for client-facing sales and negotiation
  • Confidence in cold calling and hunting new leads
  • Resilience to maintain momentum through the inevitable challenges
