Randstad are experts in Public Sector recruitment having partnered with Local, State and Federal Government entities for over 20 years.

We are currently recruiting for multiple full-time Business Support Officers with a number of our clients across Government and Commercial sectors.

The roles involve but not be limited to:

  • Finance administration of a high volume of invoices and issuing purchase orders
  • Receive and input all requests for building maintenance work orders received face-to-face, by phone and by email
  • Ensure receipt of goods ordered from stores
  • Assisting with budget preperations
  • Compile and analyse reports where required
  • Receive e-mail and telephone enquiries and provide advice and information on various operating issues
  • Maintain records and benchmarking performance statistics as required

As an ideal applicant, you will have;

  • Previous experience using finance one desirable
  • Ability to be flexible and work to tight deadlines
  • Be able to work well in team environments
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Well-developed negotiation and interpersonal skills within a politically sensitive environment
  • Positive, can do attitude

The successful candidate needs to be ready to hit the ground running and will be rewarded with an excellent rate of pay and an immediate start

Completion of Year 12 secondary Education / TAFE Business and Administration or Equivalent qualification.
