Job Description

Randstad are currently working with a number of local councils across Victoria. These temporary assignments allow you to broaden your administration experience and work across different government local councils within Victoria. All the local councils value teamwork, contributing to the community and good work-life balance.

We are currently looking for experienced administrative and secretarial men and women to work within these councils.

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Providing administrative support to the local council
  • Attending to phone queries
  • Updating databases
  • Diary management and other ad hoc administration duties
  • Preparing written response, word processing and emails
  • Record management using TRIM system

You will be successful if you posses:

  • Previous administration experience within the public sector
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Great communication skills- both phone manner and written
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with Pathway or TRIM is required

In return, you will enjoy administration roles that offer variety and progression. You will be paid weekly and receive a competitive hourly salary.
