The Centre

Nestled in the heart of the Smeaton Grange community, this campus boasts a stunning outdoor play scape as well as an abundance of indoor activity spaces designed specifically for the development of the nursery, toddler and preschool children.

The early learning and school readiness rooms are flooded with natural light with interiors aimed to inspire children’s senses and imagination. The inter-connected rooms allow children to visit with siblings and friends throughout the day creating a community like feel.

This centre recently underwent Assessment and Rating to determine how well the service meets the National Quality Standard and National Regulations. The Smeaton Grange centre achieved an overall rating of ‘Exceeding’, indicating that the service exceeds the National Quality Standard. The Role and Benefits:

As director of this centre you will be responsible for the following:

  • Enrolments
  • Rosters & Budgets
  • Manage enquiries and centre tours
  • Manage centre performance
  • Compliance with the NQF

We are looking for an experienced Director to lead, mentor and support the centre team. The successful candidate will be someone who loves to be involved with the staff and children and who is a great role model. Essential for the role are the following:

  • Your Bachelor in Education (Birth to 5 years)
  • A willingness to be open to new and exciting ideas
  • Experience in programming and planning
  • Demonstrate a high level of understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
  • Be a team player
