This position offers you an autonomous management role at a small 39 place centre with a supportive and dynamic early learning group which offers on going professional development and career progression opportunities across a network of centres and support offices.

The group started their journey in 2004 and today operate over 90 early learning centres across Australia; they are dedicated to providing high quality early learning for our families and their children.

The Centre

The centre is a 39 place child care and early learning centre in Lane Cove. It caters for children aged 2 – 5. It boasts a secure and modern setting where young children are nurtured through kinder and preschool programs by our exceedingly caring and highly-qualified educators.

The centre has open access to bright, nature-inspired spaces, structures and experiences with plenty of room for growing, inquisitive and energetic bodies to play relax or quietly explore.

The Role

The centre is conveniently located in Lane Cove close to public transport and parking. Equipped with the highest-quality learning materials and facilities for every level of early childhood development, our Centre's educators ensure the children are respected and stimulated to develop their natural curiosity and interests.

As Centre Manger, you will have ultimate responsibility for the performance of your centre, measured against:

  • quality of service and pedagogical leadership
  • team leadership and educator engagement
  • parent satisfaction
  • financial outcomes

About you

We are looking for someone who meets most of the following criteria:

  • Previous experience directing a centre is essential
    • Bachelor of Teaching/Education (Early Childhood) or Diploma in Children's Services
    • Sound, practical working knowledge and implementation of the National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework
    • Nominated/Certified Supervisor Certificate
    • Current First Aid Certificate/Asthma & Anaphylaxis
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • A strong ability to inspire, motivate and maintain a positive culture with our centre
