My client, a global leader in their industry is searching for a Change and Incident Manager to join their team on an initial 6 month contract in Sydney Centre

The role has direct accountability for Technology Change & Incident Management and Service Improvement.

Day to day responsibilities

  • Driving Incident Management across all Technology teams and the restoration of IT Services.
  • Manage all aspects of the Change Management life cycle across all Technology teams.
  • High satisfaction of internal stakeholders with management of changes and incidents.
  • Effective delivery of regular Service Reporting for the wider Information Technology teams.
  • Adapting practices to the evolving Technology landscape of Cloud change & Cloud Incident management.
  • Execution of Service Improvement deliverables
  • High reliability and quality of change and incident management practices, using the ITIL framework as a guide.

To succeed in this role you will have:

  • Ability to influence vendors in delivering to required business outcomes.
  • Experience in developing, administering and evolving a change, incident and problem management practice
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in an IT change management or related management role
  • Dedication to proactively drive the adoption of ITIL processes and practices
  • Dedication to drive innovation
  • Advanced verbal communication & graphical presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex matters in simple terms
  • Attention to detail, accuracy and consistency
  • To be on oncall for major changes and/or major incidents

Desired

  • Bachelor degree or higher qualification in Information technology, Business, Engineering or Science
  • Qualified in standard IT capabilities (e.g. ITIL, PRINCE2, Six Sigma)
  • Experience in coordinating activities involving cloud-based technologies
  • Experience working with outsourced services and IT service providers
