Our client, a NSW Government Department are seeking an experienced Change Lead to manage a stream of work within a major change project. This role is ideally suited to candidates with a change management and communications background.

Key Accountabilities:

• Design and co-ordination of all the customer engagements
• Interpretation of customer research/design and application of HCD to the change & comms strategies
• Internal and external change and communications activities from strategy to ‘hands on’ delivery
for one or more larger and/or more complex initiatives, or for multiple smaller initiatives.
• Elicit and evaluate stakeholder needs and represent this information in written documentation
• Identify change impacts for each group of stakeholders and develop appropriate interventions and activities
• Develop and execute change management, communication and training plans, and regularly report on progress
against plan
• Requires consideration of human centred design practices and addressing tailored communication to customer
and internal stakeholder segments
• Contribute to customer-centred customer journey mapping and transition planning design
• Prepare and deliver information sessions, Q&A, communications, training, documentation/guides and support
resources for the Program director and business owners
• Contribute to prioritisation, scoping and sequence planning activities and other rituals as required, at portfolio, project
and stream levels
• Facilitate discussions, meetings, workshops with key customers & provider stakeholders to develop insights, produce
customer requirements for the business and identify customer risks and issue to be addressed via change and
communications strategies
• Hands on delivery of communication, working in collaboration with the communications team
• Contribute to the collation of information to support a single change calendar and ensure consistency in messaging to
all stakeholders aligned to the strategic direction and Program outcomes
• Leverage change practice tools and develop tools or support information where there are gaps
• Contribute to program governance including agile ways of working, project wall maintenance and program reporting,
including identification, analysis and preparation of risk mitigation tactics
