Randstad's Government Team are currently on the look out for Customer Service Experts for exciting new opportunities in 2019.

Key Duties:

  • Managing incoming client contact in a telephone intake setting which can include handling difficult conversations
  • Categorising and triaging cases by applying a formal framework
  • Identifying, escalating and managing risks
  • Ensuring efficient and accurate recording of information
  • Contributing to the priorities of a team and effectively managing individual caseloads
  • Developing and maintaining good relationships with team members and internal and external stakeholders
  • Communicating effectively with people from a wide range of cultural and social backgrounds, and managing unreasonable client conduct
  • Managing own work responsibilities and workload in a timely and efficient manner.

Successful applicants will possess the following attributes and capabilities:

  • Willingness to develop new skill sets that will be transferable to other roles both within and outside of the organisation
  • A commitment to quality administration and client services
  • High level communication skills, including the ability to clearly explain complex information to clients from a diverse range of backgrounds and communicate effectively with internal management
  • Confidence and resilience in liaising with internal and external stakeholders in relation to contentious or complex matters
  • Ability to work in a busy environment to resolve concerns in a collaborative, timely and responsive manner
  • Demonstrated skills in time-management, including working with competing priorities and the ability to effectively prioritise and manage a case load
  • Ability to maintain a high standard of data recording
  • Working effectively and cooperatively as a member of a team, including assisting with quality assurance and participation in corporate activities

The successful candidate must have Australian working rights, have 1 year + experience in a similar role and be available to work full time.
