job description

About the company:

My client is a major international player in the SaaS space. In the US they are the absolute number one in their space with over 50% marketshare – and they are working hard to get to that number in Australia as well. They have amazing offices and a great culture where people help each other out when needed as well as having fun together.

About the role:

The role as a communication specialist is going to focus on two areas. The main responsibility for this role is the creating of content. This will mainly be done via digital channels. Since my client is a technology company, the main criteria is to make things simple. Your clients don’t need to know the technical details, just what it means for them. You will also write press releases. The other element you will focus on is helping out the Marketing team via Public Relations. This communication role is focusing purely on the external side. This is a twelve month contract role.

About the ideal candidate:

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years experience in a similar role. You will be an excellent writer and you will have a tremendous work ethic. You will:

  • Have 5+ years experience in writing content in a comms role
  • Have the ability to ‘make things simple’
  • Ideally you have some experience in the IT space.
  • Have a good work ethic and love to work in a fast paced environment.

What’s in it for you?

On offer is the chance to work for one of the greatest places to work. You will work with some very talented colleagues and you work with an amazing product. The daily rate is about 400 dollars a day and the contract will be for 12 months. Their (awesome) office is in the CBD.
