A contract officer is required to provide support to the contract manager for an immediate start in Murray Bridge. A brand new site has been constructed, resulting in a new role being created in the transport industry.

The client -

My client is a nationally recognised transport industry leader and looking to recruit a contracts administrator for a newly appointed role. They offer new offices and a great culture located 10 minutes outside of Murray Bridge.

The role -

As a newly created role - this gives the successful candidate the opportunity to grow with the company and take ownership of the position in assisting the current contract manager. The duties to be performed, but not limited to are listed below.

  • Ensuring driver compliance
  • Collating hours and run sheets for payroll
  • Creating run sheets
  • Amending schedules
  • Administration
  • Data entry
  • Ad-hoc duties

Flexibility and adaptability are key skills required to succeed in this role as various duties may need to be acted on at once. An internal computer system is in use along with Freight twenty 20, being proficient in Microsoft Excel is also a key skill. Some Saturday work will be required.

The candidate -
