job description

The Contract Administrator provides project specific contract administration support to the MES (Managed Equipment Service) team. You will be:

  • Planning and implementing contracts
  • Assisting with contract negotiation
  • Assisting with negotiation on price, delivery schedule and performance expectations
  • Analysing potential risk with contract terms
  • Ensuring all deadlines and conditions are met

Reporting to Contract Manager the Contract Administration (Project) must have the following attributes:

  • Demonstrated experience in a contract negation (or equivalent) role in a procurement environment
  • High level interpersonal skills
  • High level communication skills at all levels (written and verbal)
  • Ability to undertake negotiations with suppliers in the resolution of disputes.
  • Ability to develop high quality deliverables with MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
  • Ability to review, develop and implement guidelines and operating processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team to deliver project outcomes
  • Ability to identify continuous improvement and innovation opportunities
  • Ability to work under limited direction
