Our client is a leader in the Financial Services industry, located in the Melbourne CBD area and are seeking an experienced, motivated and professional Receptionist to join their team. As the face of the company you will have exceptional customer service, have a friendly demeanour and be the go to person in the office. With an office of over 200 staff your day will be full of activity and include a variety of tasks. Working along side two other receptionists you will have the ability to work as a team and at times autonomously.

Responsibilities include (not limited to):

  • Operating a switchboard
  • Managing front of house reception
  • Greeting clients and senior visitors
  • Organising couriers and daily outgoing mail
  • Organising and coordinating meeting rooms
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • Answering/transferring calls and taking messages
  • Travel management for all staff and executives
  • Office administration including typing of letters and documentation
  • General maintenance of reception and meeting room areas

  • High level planning and organisational skills
  • Experience operating a switchboard software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Can effectively make decisions and think on your feet
  • Able to work autonomously and in a team environment
  • Advanced with MP Suite (Word, Excel and Power Point)
  • Travel management experience required
  • 3-5 years experience in a corporate reception environment
