Public health remains a serious priority within Victoria, Our client focuses on providing data, information and statistics back in to the community to assist with the education and awareness. Working closely within a team, you will be responsible for the manual data entry of medical and laboratory results in to the main frame data base.

We are looking for proactive people who have a strong understanding across community and public health or have relevant studies within Bio Medical Sciences/Public health or similar.


This position will also be a point of support within the business unit, and will focus on the providing high level data entry and further administrative support to the wider team, so a flexible and a can do attitude is essential.

In this role you will utilise you knowledge and understanding of medical terminology and laboratory reports to accurately process medical and laboratory documentation in to a bespoke data management system.

Ideally you will have previously worked within a high level processing or data entry role have success hold relevant tertiary qualifications. You will have a developed keen eye for details and confident in your ability to learn and adapt to process quickly.

Having worked within the Victorian State Government, the Health Industry or similar is not mandatory but will be advantageous.

Working within this relaxed but corporate environment you will be a confident operator able to work autonomously across this data entry role, whilst utilising the support of your colleagues around you.

With an ASAP start date, the right candidate will have:

  • Tertiary qualification across Biomedical or Sciences (mandatory)
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology ad laboratory reports
  • Positive and proactive attitude
  • Comfortable to work autonomously in a supportive team environment.
  • Previous experience using health based or CRMS data base systems.

The successful candidates will need to undergo and clear and National Police Check.
