Desktop Support Analyst (L3)

My client is an Australian Government Department seeking an experienced L3 Desktop Support Analyst to be a key player in their business operations. This is an initial 12 month contract based in Sydney, Parramatta area.


Operating under a range of ITIL frameworks, such as Incident, Change, Problem and Knowledge Management. This position is heavily involved in the ongoing 3rd level BAU support, of all Windows 7, 8 and 10 desktop operating systems

Essential & Desirable Skills:

  • Extensive experience in Windows desktop troubleshooting principals.
  • Proven technical experience in desktop Group Policy management.
  • Ability to work within a team and lead key objectives to a successful outcome.
  • Experience suppporting Exchange, Active Directory, Windows Server 2008/R2 and Citrix
  • Strong knowledge of Windows scripting technologies eg. VBScript, PowerShell, WMI.
  • Demonstrated operational knowledge of application deployment within Configuration Manager current branch.
  • Demonstrated operational knowledge of Operating System Deployment (OSD) within Configuration Manager current branch.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully deliver outcomes on time and to an agreed schedule.
  • A strong commitment to customer service.
  • High level communication and documentation skills.
  • Strong understanding of key ITIL frameworks.
