This Exceeding rated service, located in Western Sydney is looking for an experienced Director to lead NSW’s only federally funded Early Years’ service dedicated to supporting children with Autism. This is a rare opportunity to join a not for profit childcare centre within a renowned and reputable company, supporting those with educational and developmental needs.

You will need to have experience working with children with autism and have a strong understanding of the Early Denver model. Relationships are key with this centre, as you will need to provide support to not only the children but their families, strong communication skills are essential – both written and verbal.

Prior experience working as a Director is essential, as well as holding an ACECQA approved early childhood teaching degree.

Essential Criteria

  • Demonstrated current knowledge of the early childhood sector, including knowledge of the National Quality Framework and EYLF
  • Experience in working with children with additional needs
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Ability to facilitate change through the use of reflective practice and a strengths based approach
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with using standard computer software, such as Microsoft Office and online databases.
